New author-member and long-time podcaster says hello from Ontario, Canada.
While I have published historical articles before, A Tale of Wrath and Valor is my inaugural fictional work. I continue writing the Three Dragon Prophesy sagas, including the next volume that follows the brave and proudful Imperial Supreme General Devana. The third will follow after Empress Yaryla and I may, or may not, continue writing in that world but with works that follow the three sisters’ daughters. But we’ll see!?!?
Additionally, I’ve written a contemporary fiction that entwines military fiction and romance and follows Myroslava, an American-Ukrainian who moved back to her homeland in 2014 where she found love, lost it, went a little bit off the rails but then came back to herself with the help of love, friendship and hope. I’m hoping to find a more traditional route with this work, and I’m querying agents at the moment.
And in order to keep myself sane in this abysmally insane world, I’ve also just completed a very rough copy of a werewolf romance that takes place in upstate New York, which is the first of three books that will be set in the same universe but dealing with various levels of monsters living among us.
Once all of these wonderfully delightful and imaginative story have finally fled my head, I want to start working on a historical fiction series of works following the story of Ukrainian medieval princesses who married into some of Europe’s most influential and important royal families.
Apart from all of that, I’m still working on staying on Russia’s sanctioned/no-fly list (I’m honestly not sure what I’m banned from while being on that list), so I’m going to continue with my volunteering with the Ukrainian community while also trying to master this weird life of an indie author (marketing is a bitch, and I don’t understand it!)
