I’m working on a new YA fantasy series that I’m holding back to release all at once on Kickstarter before going wide .
Here’s a description:
As the veil between the Faewyld and our realm grows ever thinner, what once were dismissed as mere folk tales now stir beneath the surface of reality. Here, every shadow hides a secret, every leaf and stone holds a story, and every sunbeam may lead to salvation—or ruin. What begins as an innocuous prank might spiral into cataclysmic change, pulling unsuspecting souls into its enchanting yet perilous depths.
Prepare for a series where myths breathe, and legends bleed. Prepare to enter the Faewyld.

I was working on a near-future dystopian tale set in the U.S. and Canada, but I was inspired more recently by a new concept: an espionage thriller with the working title, “Nesting Dolls.” It’s about conspiracies within conspiracies, cons within cons. Who’s zoomin’ who?

I’ve decided to set it, not in the distant past like my Dark Age series, nor in a dystopian future, but in a dystopian present: Russia’s unjustified war of aggression against Ukraine.

I have completed two new novels featuring Alex Bishop, an English investigative lawyer who made her name in the United States and now returns to her London hometown to seek justice for the wrongly accused. She wants to succeed here but can’t escape the troubled past that forced her to leave all those years ago.
Two sci-fi books are also in the works: a near-future dystopian novel set in New York with a unique twist on the danger facing humanity, and a second outing for Raymond Bridges in Double Bind 2.
